Called brier city hall about a chicken that got out and were in the streets. They sent out a police officer that chased it around till he got tired then discharged his taser. Matter handled! Thank you city of brier!!

As a resident of Brier since 1981 I say here and now that I'm proud of my police department and our city government. God bless them.

I got a knock on my door in the middle of the day. I get a lot of packages and was home alone so I did not answer the door. Then I hear voices coming from my garage. The garage door was open, so two large police men thought it was OK to enter into my home without just cause other than the door was open. So when I heard two strange men talking inside my property, I came out scared to see what was going on.nnI was angry to find them both in my garage wandering around. When I got angry at them, they thought it was amusing. They laughed and said we are the police, like my discomfort and my violation was funny. They thought that it was amusing to make a young woman feel unsafe who was home alone.nnI called the department to complain, they told me I could come fill out some forms and wait until next week. I thought making the fact that this happened, and how it made me feel - PUBLIC - for all to see would ultimately be more effective.

The lady here at the police department is very helpful on fingerprinting.nI'm not in this area, but she was very pleased to help me out. and I got my fingerprint within 10 mins (The fingerprinting at Shoreline has a wait time of ONE MONTH!! )
