How can one pass up on the major savings of doing their major grocery shopping at Krogers? Just buying say $250 worth of groceries and a couple of $25 gift cards (when they earn FOUR times cash value), gives one a $.70 per gallon discount at their pumps each month. (The Kroger credit card adds $250 bonus points each month.)nnThis equals getting a $1.05 discount each month-for a cash savings of $15.75 on a 15-gallon fillup! I like earning over FIVE % monthly on a $300 purchase I would make anyway each month. That makes the 1-2% ANNUAL interest on a bank savings account what it really is-nothing. What is in YOUR budget?
