Good amount of chairs and tables. Everyone space is respected. Good place to get work done. Has private rooms for study/homework time.
I haven't stepped foot in a library in over 20 years. Im so glad I did the other day. Bright inviting colors. Very comfortable chairs, and of course tons of books for everyone young and old. If you live in McKinney, I highly recommend stopping by to par take in the experience. On a final note they have movies you can check out for free as well:)
The staff here is VERY helpful.nnNearly every time I’m there I’m met with a smile and a quick-let-me-help-you attitude.
Great facility! Friendly staff and a fun kids zone/area. Shelves seem lightly stacked/choices of kids books offered aren't very varied, even though you do have the option of interlibrary loan. Just be prepared for some disappointment if you stop by on a whim with a book in mind. Research online what's available before going.
If you want to get work done on a computer you MUST bring headphones. The staff here spends all day gossiping, laughing, and talking very loudly without a care for people trying to study. It's so bad you can even hear them in the quiet room. What ever happen to a library being quiet????
