Pipe burst in washing machine. Not only fixed the broken pipe, they helped my husband clean up the water and prevent any further damages. Thank you Nutex for your great work and help.

They spent 15 minutes in my house diagnosing a leak in my hot water heater that was non existent. The code on the hot water heater said bad gas valve but after 15 minutes, I all of a sudden need a new hot water heater that magically costs the same amount that my supplemental home warranty covers. I asked for a new technician to come out to get a better second opinion but instead I was just supplied with the poorly written notes of the first technician. I'd go elsewhere for a plumber unless you're looking to cheat the system with bad quality. By the way, your home warranty only covers around half the cost so you're stuck with half the bill either way. Go the better way with a name brand company that has a better resume.

Great response time, took care of my issue. Great company

Receptionist Celeste is incompetent. I initiated the service on Monday. Explained no less than 3 times what my issue was. My appointment time came (on Friday), no technician. I called and she says he had an emergency. Had to reschedule. She sent out a technician who was not equipped to handle the issue, having told him incorrectly. Technician said he would have her call me to fix the issue... No surprise, she did not! Now I'll be without the use of my kitchen for over a week thanks to her incompetence. Save your time and sanity. Get someone else.

The year is 2021 and the entire state of Texas is underneath a foot of snow. Millions are without power, but the nature of my misfortune is more specific than that: the lights stayed on… but the heater was not so fortunate. When I awaken it’s 45 degrees in the living room and rapidly dropping to meet the sub-freezing temperatures outside.nnEnter Sean- Nutex mechanic, gentleman, and scholar (I assume). Sean literally braved the elements to get to my house so I don’t feel like it’s a stretch to call him an actual hero. His timeliness likely made a meaningful difference in my odds of developing hypothermia over an otherwise VERY cold week- so yeah, not a stretch at all. Nutex gave me an arrival time of 9am to 5pm (which was quite understandable given the circumstances), but here comes Sean right the heck on time- a real “early bird gets the worm” type. Could not possibly have been more appreciative for that.nnSean- the gentleman and scholar that he is- reads the room. He is helpful, patient, responsive to my questions, listens to me complain about how terrible my life is & offers his sympathies, and all the while is doing his actual job. Eventually we reach an impasse - the problem has been isolated (older unit, malfunctioning blower, likely fried by a power surge) and we’ll need to order parts. My heart sinks, but just before my despair manifests in words, Sean chimes in with a potential workaround.nnSide note- I work in client services, so I immediately take from his tone & lack of verbal commitment regarding this “workaround” that he couldn’t have been 100% sure it would work, but he had to try it and he didn’t want to get my hopes up about it before he knew. Like what a dang gentleman, am I right? I appreciate that kind of thing because it goes so far beyond his (or most people’s) formal call of duty. I’m not accustomed to my HVAC technician experience literally turning my frown upside down, but he just came across as a good dude. Add on top of that the fact that workaround DID work, and because of his ingenuity I had sustained heat up until when the parts arrived.nnLook- if not for the snowstorm this maybe would have been a very regular, mildly positive HVAC experience. Had a problem, problem got solved in a reasonable amount of time. But it bears repeating that this dude (a self-confessed California native & current resident of Texas- two states that aren’t known for their snowfall) drove from freaking Prosper to get to my place (just north of downtown Dallas) and solved my potentially life-threatening problem while hamstrung for parts. More than that, before anything was fixed he (perhaps unwittingly) improved my attitude & kept me pleasantly distracted for enough of the experience that it felt like he was in and out in 10 minutes. This was clutch.nnFor obvious reasons, nobody wants to have to call a repair man- you just have to sometimes, unfortunately. From where I’m sitting there is value in knowing who to call when/if that unfortunate situation arises. If asked, I’d suggest Nutex.
