Ramsey House Plantation

This place is really cool. The structure of the home is beautifully simplistic and we'll kept. The preservation committee has done well with the restoration. The history of the home is interesting. Location is off the beaten path. Good place to visit with family or solo. It was in my list of haunted places, although I saw no spirits. Still worth checking out.

a friend and i approached the house at the entrance to search for a geocache, which is already there with permission, on the outside of the gate obviously, when we were sternly told that we needed to come back when it was open and then proceeded to watch us until we left.. mind you it was during the day and we weren't behind the gate we literally parked in the grass across the street.... not mad, because i totally understand that it was closed, but we weren't trespassing or anything. but anyway cool place i guess :/

Because of the tour guide, one of the best museum tours I've ever been on! Made it very informative and entertaining!

We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the historic time period and what Christmas was like in 1797. My children loved it and want to revisit it in the daytime.
