Really appreciate the soup kitchen. The soup is wonderful! They serve other things during the year. That group of ladies are nice.

New Mt Zion Baptist Church pastor gave away a $25.00 food certificate to Chestnut grill restaurant when the assistance needed was much more than that & how $25.00 food certificate was gon stretch between me & my woman & then the pastor had the audacity to ask was it enough last Sunday. The folks at Mt Zion do so little for those who need assistance, they quick to ask you have you tried other churches when you asked them for assistance. & as soon as they get tired of you calling them they ignore you & your text messages. New Mt Zion agreed to help me with what they considered the maximum $300.00 then by the middle of the third week of April they stated they gave us over 300.00 & bragging about how they covered us with a room, food, clothes & shoes & stated that were some of the ungratefullest spoiled brats they've ever met. The pastor even failed to acknowledge me & my woman on Sunday, April 15, 2018 as visitors in New Mt Zion church & I know he done it on purpose. I'll strongly advise anybody who ever considers New Mt Zion as their church to reconsider quick. The church is suppose to help the needy & sick no different than Jesus helping the sick, hungry, blind & whoremongers.
