I had Joe do a general liability quote for us about 5 months ago and I was unable to cancel my currant policy with another company till this month.. I go in this morning to ask him if we could get a new updated quote and add policy for some equipment that I did not have at the time of the first quote. He informed me that the quotes was no good due to time since the quotes was done so he would have to redo them.. Then He informed me that he had spent a lot of time on the last quote and was frustrated because he had waisted the time to do the quote and I didn't purchase the policy.. Im sorry but I do feel like it the job of an insurance agent to provide quotes on policies to get business. I do want to say ones again I was unable to cancel my current policy due to my contract with my last insurance company until this month so I went in trying to go with the quotes he had gotten us.. I do not feel that like coming back to get the quotes updated and started shouldn't be a big deal I actually thought this was how what the agent was suppose to do for a new customer. I had cash in hand ready to start my new policy...
