Dr. Vasudevan has been great. He has a no nonsense approach to his care which may put some people off but I find it very professional and that's what I look for in a Doctor. He tells you how it is and doesn't beat around the bush about anything. I thank him for his professionalism and straight forward attitude towards my care. My mother who is a retired RN after 32 years likes him also and trust me, she's worked with enough doctors to tell the good from the bad.nnIf you cant handle hearing the truth from your Dr. then he's not for you but if you want a real answers without the BS then pay Dr. Vasudevan a visit.

Awful experience with Dr. Vasudevan. He overlooked a tumor that was in my husband's sigmoid colon and blamed his constipation on pain meds he had for a Crohn's flare up. (My husband used him as his gi since he was 12, he is now 33. Dr. knew that constipation was unheard of in his case. Ever.) After making him feel like a drug addict, and overlooking his cancer, he was going to send him home the next day. That night, my husband's colon burst in his belly. He could have died and is still fighting cancer. Most of this could have been avoided, had my husband had a competent gastroenterologist. If you value your life, stay far away from this incompetent jerk.

He was very down talking. He likes to berate you right before you go under, with only you and he in the room. Would not listen to me regarding my symptoms (later found to be partial colon paralysis), told me to become a vegetarian and eat more fiber (exactly what you are NOT supposed to do with this condition). Don't go to if you are the slightest bit obese because he will tell you all about how you lack self control and make you feel worthless. Very egotistical jerk.

is always honest and straight forward which I like in my Dr's although sometimes he does act a little on the arrogant side, he's good at what he does...would highly recommend him as a dr
