The beach was pretty isolated when we visited it, which was on a Sunday morning. Fresh clear water but don't expect sandy beaches. The ground is largely strewn with pebbles and small rocks although there is sand laid down as well. The kids were happy in and out of water though.nThere are some benches just off the water that are great for a picnic. There is also a small kid playground with rides close by - it is pretty good shape. We spent about 3 hours at this spot.nWe didn't see any restrooms or changing rooms nearby, although they may have been locked due to COVID.

Lake Murray is a great place to Kayak. We kayaked near Tucker Tower in the late afternoon of Oct 30. Beautiful coves, many water fowls - Canada geese, blue heron, seal gulls and bird turkey vultures, black vultures, belted king fisher...and beautiful sunset, magic moonrise!nnBest kayak launching spot is marina beach for this part of lake Murray.

A nice beach in southern Oklahoma. The bottom of the lake was rather muddy though, so expect that if you're going swimming. The water was mostly less than 6 feet deep.
