A big open picnic area and rest stop off of 287 that works well to stretch the stiff legs and walk the dog. There are no restrooms but there are covered, shaded picnic tables that let you sit down and take in the wide open panorama that is Texas. This is the Texas lifestyle and it is free.nLiving is bigger in Texas, better in Texas and cheaper in Texas. We have got it good here so when you can proud Texans, stop at a picnic rest stop and spend some precious time appreciating the glory of it all and your good fortune in living with its unbelievable beauty

Lots and lots of spaces for truck parking. I was able to find a spot, even late at night. Very quiet, clean, and well maintained. Plenty of grassy area for your fur babies to run and around and play. Great place to walk and stretch your legs! They also have covered picnic tables. The only downside is that there is no restroom facilities and no vending machines. But, it's still a great place to do 10 a ten-hour break!

Kind of a desolate place. Dark. Not 2 mention no bathroom. Port a potty. Yugh! Stinks like... Ewww. Just plain nasty.
