We went on the one hour trail ride and it was beautiful. The trail you take is full of mossy trees and views. Darla was a great guide and made sure we were comfortable and having fun the whole way. The horses were so friendly and knew the trails without our guidance. If you’re looking for a horseback riding experience in the Seattle area, I can’t recommend Misty Acres enough!
My 10 year old daughter and I went for a trail ride and really enjoyed it. Their horses are gorgeous, and very calm and gentle. They look healthy and happy, it is obvious that they are really loved and cared for. Darla and Noelle will give advice, and will make sure you are comfortable throughout the ride. They even let my daughter brush the horses after the ride. She was so happy and said she can't wait to come back for another ride! And yes, we'll definitely be back!
This was an amazing and fun experience for the whole famliy! I took my famliy here(8 people) and we did 4 riders at a time due to the number of horses available.It was a huge challenge to find somewhere to let you ride horses on a trail let alone somewhere open during Covid 19 with that many people! Darla the owner was very polite and helpful.She makes everyone wear a mask to be safe while getting ready to ride and disinfects headwear which is nice.The ride is really nice and scenic and shows off the PNW wilderness.I would recommend this activity everybody,adults and children alike!I have no complaints about this activity! Had so much fun and we all really bonded with the horses! Special note the owner who guides the riders takes pictures of you riding and tells you about the horses history!Then she sends you the pics afterwards! I thought this was a really nice touch!
What amazing opportunity to celebrate our daughter's 10th birthday with her friends (and wonderful Darla!). The horses are beautiful, well trained and perfect for a rider with any type of experience. We had one young girl that was very scared of riding, since it was her first time, and Darla gave her a boost of confidence when she mounted her horse, and set the tone. This first time rider LOVED the ride. All of the girls and Dad loved the beautiful ride with Darla and the horses. Since we were the last ride for the day, the girls got to brush the horses, too, which was a nice ending to a great ride. Darla is amazing and and she was great with the girls (and dad!)nnWhen we got home, she sent us a lot of photos of the trip, and some really great photos of each of the horses we had on the ride.nnI would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that loves horses, and the beautiful trails of Maple Valley/Ravensdale. Darla and her horses are a wonderful treat! Darla, thank you for living your purpose and sharing it with others!
My experience was educational and fun. I was delighted to have Noelle and her daughter as my facilitator. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt safe and prepared for my journey. What an amazing time!! The horses are healthy and trained for all skill levels. You’re in good hands with Misty Acres.nThanks for an amazing day trip :)
