I normally don’t write reviews but I was so impressed with Alisha I had to take a minute to recognize her. I’m a long time Great Clips customer but it was my first time to this particular location as I wasn’t pleased with my last visit to a different Great Clips salon. I wasn’t sure if I wanted the same haircut as the notes in the system stated and this is where Alisha really started to impressed me. She was very friendly, didn’t rush and took the time to listen, understood what I wanted, made some recommendations and then gave me the perfect haircut. I highly recommend Alisha and will definitely be requesting her on future visits. Great job Alisha, thank you! As a side note the other person working was also extremely friendly and engaged in conversation with me, I should have asked her name as she also deserves recognition.

I absolutely love Great Clips at Hilltop. All the staff makes you feel welcome. Leanna took the time to cut my hair exactly the way I wanted and made sure I was satisfied. I will be going back.

Sammie Thomas is the best one there!! She does a perfect fade and get exactly what you ask for!! And she’s super sweet to talk with. And they keep the place very clean and organized.

I try not to write bad reviews on businesses since it could have been a one time mistake, but today I will share my many experiences here at great clips in Monroe. I grew up with cosmetologists in my family. I’m very aware of the ins and outs of hair and hair care. I’m no professional but I can definitely say the experiences I have had at great clips are poor. Every time I come in to receive a trim I am met with more hair cut that asked or a blunt cut that is just unattractive. Also, when did they stop teaching stylists to part hair before cutting? Today, I received both in one setting. I will not name names since I don’t want to ruin business for any hair stylist, but my hair was so horrible cut that half was longer than the other and much shorter than I asked for. Hair grows, I know, but it’s a mystery to me how a license was received for missing such a huge detail in my hair cut! I was so scared to tell them it was uneven for fear they would make it worse! I’m disappointed in great clips and I can safely say I will no longer receive services through this company since it appears that I can not trust my hair to be cut here.
