Nantahala River Gem Mine

So we went on a Sunday in February and it had just snowed i took my wife and kids (we are from out of town) and it was closed. I went across the street to get gas and mentioned it to the the cashier. She gave me the ownes number and told me to call her and maybe the would open for us. So long story short they sent Matt out to open and we had a great time. He was so knowledgeable and such a nice person. We will come back just because of our experience. I wish they had more stars because 5 isn't enough.

The kids had a blast and there were some really good finds in our 5 gallon bucket.
