Without question this is the best hair stylist I have ever been to or seen. The building itself is well-decorated & superbly clean. It smelled of lemon-grass which was very refreshing & much better than the usual barber or stylist (they always smelled of chemicals).nnThe young woman who runs it is very professional with three decades of practice, friendly & accommodating. We both immediately felt right at ease, comfortable & welcome. She took great care with how she handled the hair procedure (color), & went about it with skill & efficiency which comes only with great experience.nnIt’s situated right next to the Catawba river, with a porch side view (which is nice for us guys, although I actually sat inside the full duration with no hurry to leave at all, which is a rare thing :-) It was entirely pleasant & relaxing. Plus the chairs are very comfortable.)nnI myself formerly prefered Great Clips — But after this, I’m going to come here instead hands down. Easily the best customer service I have ever experienced. 5 stars in all categories.nnUpdate:nnThis is our second time here at the Salon. Just as the first — perfect customer service, very friendly, very professional service with great care taken in each step. The stylist even took extra measures to make sure everything came out perfectly.nnThe building this time had a light autumn scent of cinnamon (which was extremely pleasant). With additional seasonal decor for autumn — including a beautifully done tree with hand-made leaf-decor.nnAbsolutely the cleanest & best facility I have ever been in (I’ve seen many in my time). Hands down this is our salon of choice. (this review is coming from a small business owner, former store manager & instructor).
