Amazing florist.!!! I’ve used Terry for years and I even live in CA now ! Always delivers a gorgeous arrangement of fresh flowers. The shop is conveniently located off Hwy 70 with ample parking and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

It’s too bad I can’t leave a zero-star review, because I’ve never been more disgusted with a business than I am with the Asheville Swannanoa Florist. I moved to Asheville last year, and in March I celebrated my first birthday away from my family. I have two younger sisters. Knowing how I love to support local businesses, they both placed individual orders with The Asheville Swannanoa Florist. My sister Carla arranged to have my flowers delivered the day before my birthday. She didn’t tell me what was going to be delivered, she just said I had a delivery coming that day. I rearranged my entire day and rescheduled an appointment to be home. Nothing came. Finally, at around 7:30pm, she asked if I’d received a delivery. I told her no. She then explained she had ordered flowers and had received an email stating the flowers had been delivered. That email was a lie. The first of many lies. I’m beginning to think the only thing this business is good at providing is lies. My sister left voicemails for the business owner, and when the florist responded, she claimed there had been a car accident and blamed my sister for being upset. This after assuring my sister at 4pm that the flowers would be delivered. The florist has made unfounded accusations against my sister, claiming my sister embellished what happened. No. The florist is just a bald-faced liar. To say that I’m furious is putting it mildly. In her response to my sister’s review, the florist claims to have delivered my other sister’s flowers the next day. That is ANOTHER LIE. The florist was supposed to deliver that order on my birthday. Those flowers were delivered TWO DAYS LATER, after 5pm. Now, if that were my business, and I missed delivery of an order, you can bet I’d get it done first thing the very next day. To the florist, if you make any attempt to claim that what I’ve detailed here is embellished or inaccurate, I will be happy to post the video of your lone delivery. I’m guessing you didn’t notice the security cameras on my front porch. The video is date and time stamped. The florist made some half-hearted excuse about not getting in touch with me via my phone as the reason for her 2-day late delivery. I’ve lived in unincorporated parts of two rural counties, and I’ve received numerous flower deliveries. Never once did a florist require talking to me on the phone to make the delivery. And I’ve never had an order delivered two days after the scheduled delivery. You seem to have forgotten what it means to serve your customer. You NEVER, ever attack your paying customer, which is why I’ve written this review. You took a beautiful and thoughtful gesture and turned it into a nightmare. More than two weeks later, you still haven’t refunded her money. You now claim the refund is coming from the website?? Okay. My sister is far more patient than I. My other sister was just disappointed her flowers arrived two days late. The fact that you couldn’t get even one out of two deliveries made on time speaks to your incompetence. To anyone in the Asheville area looking for a florist, there are other far better local florists who want and deserve your business. I’d sooner pick a bunch of flowers from a field than patronize this business.

I ordered flowers March 11 to be delivered the following day. At 5pm the flowers had not been delivered so I called. The woman assured me they were on the truck. At 7:45pm they still had not been delivered so I called and left a voicemail. I then received an email saying it had been delivered. I called my sister and she hadn’t received a thing, I then called back thinking they had gone to another house. I then received a phone call from the owner telling me had I had arrowed down to the bottom of the email I would have seen that she explained the truck had been in a fender bender. She said the flowers would have to wait for tomorrow. I told her that was not acceptable since my sister would not be home. She told me it wasn’t her fault and that I was being unreasonable. I told her that it most certainly not mine and as a business owner she should have called and not emailed. While I spoke with her I double checked the email and there was nothing in it about an accident. She then raised her voice at me insinuating I was a liar and she told me she would upgrade the flowers. I told her I had paid for the upgrade so no thank you I just want my money back since the surprise was already ruined. She then yells at me saying fine I need my reputation so I’ll refund your money and still take the flowers and give your sister an apology. I told her no I don’t want you harassing her I just want to be done with this so just give me my money and leave me alone. She wanted to argue more but I just told her no I want my money. I have called twice and have received no call back. It is the 27th and I STILL do not have my $129.04! I’m not sure what justification this woman has to steal my money but the Better Business Bureau has been made aware of her unscrupulous practices so I pray I get my full refund soon. My sister moved to Asheville in June so this is our first birthday away from one another so this was important to me. This experience is unfortunate to say the least. I have over 30 years experience in guest service and I would suggest this woman is in the wrong industry. Buyer Beware!nn* looks like the shop owner decided to answer me. Of course you won’t admit to your inappropriate behavior. I would never disillusion myself in thinking you would. Anyone can check Google reviews and Yelp to find numerous examples of your misbehavior.nNot that I owe you any explanation, I will simply say my sister stayed home because I told her she had something coming but I didn’t go in to detail. It was ruined once you failed to provide the service you were paid to do. As far as the free flowers, you only offered that after I pressed you for my money back. If you read my comments it’s in there. The fact you are on here trying to insinuate that I am the one in the wrong is proof of who you are. Oh, and as far as the other flowers, they lasted 24 hours and then ended up dead in the garbage. Kind of like your service.nIt’s March 31 and I still do not have my money.

Terry has the best Flower Shop in Buncombe County, NC. She services the area and has for many years. She does amazing work and should be recognized for best flower shop in the area.
