MC is better than the four year school I transfered to. The campus is nice and they really invest in improving facilities.
Decent college, it was a great stepping stone into my next life as a photographer. The best way to start with MC is to go on campus and walk around.
I was a student here back in the mid 90's. I remember my first day at MC. I did have to ask others where things are (paying for classes, books, etc.). If I did not ask I would be running in circles. The staff was helpful and polite. I even came back to the Rockville campus 4-5 years ago because I was thinking to finish up and there were really helpful and in courage me to come back when I'm ready. I think the time have come to go back to school and I have a meeting with the Advisor/Counselor today.nnOn a side note if you do visit this Campus, and need to park in the visitor parking space. You need to go to the Security office in Building CB and or SB. There really strict and you will get ticketed or towed at your own expense.
The campus is pretty big and most of the buildings are nice. With a map, you can around around pretty easily. The scene is a good view too.
Calling into schedule a meeting with an academic advisor and whoever answered the phone for Montgomery college is rude and unprofessional, completely unhelpful and turned me away it’s almost as if they don’t want my money. Don’t waste your time calling just go in person because the phone lady is rude, practically yells in your ear and doesn’t want to help you with your education needs or questions
