Easy access quick service.
The worst experience ever. They locked your ticket flight so if you have to change your travel date you have to do it with them not with the airline you are flying. And they do that in order to charge you more than $200. A change that the airline can do for free or for $75.00 the most. I don’t recommend this agency.
Always my favorite
I bought 3 flights to Europe (leaving in march). Flights were banned to and from Europe due to COVID-19 so my flight had to be cancelled. The airline which I was traveling (united) was offering full refunds BUT because I purchased through monica travels, this agency charged me what they call a cancellation FEE (which is ridiculous due to circumstances and agents do not mention that when you first purchase tickets). I had to give up $150 PER flight or agree to a credit for UP TO a year from when it was purchased (but who knows when this pandemic will clear up). I called multiple times to find out the status of my refund (after the time frame window I was given). Never got a call back like they stated. When I called the 4th time I finally was able to get some answers. I would definitely skip monica travels when booking your next flight or travel package to AVOID HIDDEN FEES.nnAnd fyi if you pay with credit/debit card they charge a fee for that as well.
I currently was in this office on Wednesday. I bought airfare with Avianca Airlines. As i'm sitting in his office I notice he was able to deduct $10.00 off any air fair with this airline no matter what the price, date, or destination was. He also mentioned he can beet any price locally. The issue is when i got my tickets I had another agency I work with review my reservation internally. This agency noticed he is doing unethical work that violates the Terms of contracts Agencies sign with airlines. We noticed he went back after I paid and canceled all segments. Practice of unmarried segments is not ethical and this Agency is doing it. This is Fraud. He is taking money from everyone pockets both the Customer and the Airline
