Friendship Pharmacy

Negligent providers with no concern for their customers.nnI became a Friendship Pharmacy customer when my prescription was transferred without notice. I figured if they did as good a job as my old pharmacy, Loudon Pharmacy, it wouldn't matter. Well, it mattered.nnIt started off as an honest mistake, I think. My prescriptions used to refill automatically, but that stopped happening at some point. They explained it had to do with the transfer.nnThe problem was I learned this after I ran out of medication and was experiencing a withdrawal. They didn't have a single pill on hand, but they said they would order it, and it would go out for delivery first thing the following morning. I assumed that meant it would arrive sometime that morning, but it didn't, that evening, I'm still here waiting for it while my withdrawal symptoms continue to make me more and more ill.nnIt turns out that they have until 8pm to deliver, and the person who I spoke with on the phone, who was aware of the symptoms I was experiencing, didn't think that was important. Basically, I could have picked it up first thing in the morning and recovered, or I could wait until 8pm and suffer the entire day, and they didn't think that was important to mention. To make matters worse, I couldn't just go to pick it up because their only inventory was out for delivery.nnIf you're looking to support a careless and incompetent independent pharmacy, this one would be a great fit. I should add that North Capitol Pharmacy is similarly careless and negligent. So, either one are great options for if you don't want your prescriptions. These charity cases encourage people to support independent pharmacies, but then they do everything they can to remind us why we shouldn't.

The process of this pharmacy is extremely frustrating. The dr calls in the prescriptions and you’d expect they just get filled and you can pick them up in a few hours.nnThey have to call you, get your insurance, then call your insurance to verify then can you back to get your payment then they order whatever meds you need which then takes a few days.nnFrom someone who has to manage a lot of prescriptions this process is really frustrating for me.nnMy dr said they are super amazing. I haven’t experienced that yet

Outstanding customer service. When I had trouble opening a container purchased from them and called them for instructions the clerk offered to send someone to my home to help. I was amazed. It was my first prescription filled there. I declined the offer, and found a neighbor who helped, but I appreciated the concern and helpfulness of Friendship pharmacy. Their delivery service is free. Their combination of knowledge and kindness is truly outstanding. Thanks. I am grateful to have the opportunity to recommend your pharmacy.
