Washington D.C. Temple

My experience here was such a great opportunity to see this place. I loved every minute of it whenever I came to be here. I served a mission here in there area. Mostly in Virginia. However I always loved the spirit here. I want to come back and see it again. Hopefully the renovation didn't change much or maybe made it better. It would be a great place to be to feel such a power from Heaven above. After all it's a holy house of the Lord. I encourage all to go and see it or go the history center.

Beautiful Temple, a regional landmark visible from the beltway. A free shuttle bus operates between here and the Forest Glen Metro station (Red Line) Modern and lofty on the inside as well.

The most beautiful structure in the region. A stunning view from the beltway and even more marvelous up close. We are blessed to have the Washington D.C. Temple in our midst.

The lights look amazing but unfortunately it takes over 3 hours to get in as the lines are very long and there are multiple points of entry. If you bring children, make sure you have something to entertain them as you need a lot of patience. Not well organized, the police is only at the Temple entrance, there should be someone letting visitors know from which location you will not make it in. Disappointed as we drove from NY.

Finally realized it is not what it claims to be. Reeling & disappointed in myself. Deconstructing my faith & rewiring my brainwashed mind in order to live authentically.
