Great place and very helpful and encouraging. I have been going here for a while because of my wrists are constantly in pain and I didn’t have good range of motion or strength. My range of motion and strength has improved but I still have constant pain and swelling in my wrist. The staff here are very encouraging

I had an awesome experience with Nanticoke Rehabilitation Services. After getting a total Knee Replacement from Dr. Doran, I started therapy 2 days later at this facility. Originally I picked them based on word of mouth and the fact they are next door in same building as my surgeon, Dr. Doran. However, their expertise was amazing and I feel I got the best care possible. Week one I walked with a Walker. Week two I walked with a cane. Week three I arrived unassisted and walking by myself. I went in there willing to push myself past the pain point each appointment and they appreciated that and had me back up to normal and ready to be released in 4 weeks time. Even though I had one particular therapist assigned to me, the room allows for all the therapist to track the improvements of all the patients. Very encouraging and very complimentary to me as I passed every goal set up for me to break. It's been 8 weeks now, so I've been out of their care for 4 weeks, but I still use their techniques here at home and I do believe my range and walking ability is now almost equal to my good leg. Therapy is only as good for you as you allow it to be, but when they see a willing patient they know exactly what to do to help push them along to a FULL recovery and not settle for a partial recovery. Thanks to all of them, including the helpful receptionist at the desk who calmly balances everybody's schedules to make it work. I highly recommend them.

Nanticoke Rehabilitation services are the best on the Eastern Shore! Inpatient and Outpatient!

Having had an excellent surgical procedure for carpal tunnel syndrome by Dr. W. R. Doran, I was fortunate that he also referred me to the Outpatient Occupational Therapy services Nanticoke Hospital provides at the Mears Center. The surgery had been successful. but my recovery was slow, and the necessary therapy I received here was excellent. The staff, Jerry, Shay, Helen, and Toni were all attentive, encouraging, and thorough in therapy work and coaching the same. Through their expertise and caring, I have regained more strength and dexterity I had prior to surgery. The receptionists went out of their way to adjust appointments to my schedule and were always pleasant upon my arrival. I can't say enough good things about the treatment and success I enjoyed.
