This rehab center is the best in minden. The staff are nice and the rehab gym staff are really good with the patients. I have no complaints at all!! My husband is checked on frequently and helped often

Where do I start? My mother was admitted on a Monday for rehab from a back surgery. Wednesday afternoon, she called me and told me that they hadn't changed her sheets since she had been there. She sent pictures of her bed sheets and they had blood stains on them. We went to visit her and the whole wing that she was located on smelled like urine. It makes me wonder if the patients are getting changed after accidents.nThe food was another thing. People in jail eat better food than this place serves!!! Chili dogs and sloopy joes several times a week and tasted like it was served straight from the fridge , cold tater tots, a serving of eggs that wouldn't even fill up a toddler, toast that was hard as a brick. My sisters and I would have to make the 30 minute drive to take her something to eat because she was hungry.nShe woke up in pain one night at 10 pm and buzzed the nurse for a pain pill. She did not get it until almost 4 am!!!nI sent 2 emails complaining about it and never got a response. I finally called the head office and my mom was pulled out of PT to discuss the things I complained about. The day after I made the phone call, she was told that she would be there until June, then all of a sudden she was released Saturday. She still can not move to well. We feel like they put her out due to my complaint phone call.nWe will never recommend this place to anyone. If you have loved ones here, you might want to do surprise visit.

If you are looking for employment here DON’T even waste your time!! Unless you like modern day slavery...In the 9months I worked there,this place was NEVER fully staffed with enough workers especially on the weekends. The Administrator does the CNA/Nurses schedule and puts down workers she knows for a fact has never stepped foot in T&C or hasn’t worked there in weeks/months but that’s how much they care. Can you imagine your loved one going hours with out being changed or bathed due to lack of enough workers? They push all the good employees away and keep the ones who mistreat residents daily and trust I have witness and seen with my own eyes complaints being made and absolutely nothing being done about it. The owner (Libby) wanted me wrote up after witnessing me wipe a dust mark off a window,but in her eyes I was not cleaning the window properly (keep in mind the window was already cleaned) ...”perception” ...Libby also wanted me wrote up because I parked my cart on the hall to go sweep my entree ways which my Supervisor just asked me to do before I left. Who in their right mind would want to continue to work for a company that writes you up for pettiness but turns a blind eye to things that really matter. Like: your CNAs NOT using gloves, the food you serve (trash),the roaches&rats you can’t seem to get rid of, residences being verbally&physically mistreated, Payroll stealing money, and this list goes on but I will save that for the BBB. The worse place you could possibly take someone. They kept my mother completely out of her mind with drugs. She almost died with UTI and we were telling them she had a problem. We got her to the emergency room barely in time to save her life. We then moved her to Carrington Place where she is doing really well. Do not take a loved one to Town and Country.nnc

Please do not send your loved one to this awful place. And the hospice agency they will connect you with is even worse. They will not take care of your patient and they will restrict you from visiting with them even if by sedating them. This hospice agency has done nothing to help the family and they are not even seeing that the patient is getting proper care. Shame on you all! The only reason I gave one star is because I could not post without one.
