Nice lake... it got fish & turtles & snakes, etc etc... good for recreational boating & boat racing and kayaks or canoes and good fishing sometimes... buhlow lake got a lil pier to walk out on also... lake buhlow ain't much have too deep an area anywherez... seems like I read that deepest parts were only that of 10 feet, give or take a foot I suppose...ud83eudd37‍♂ufe0fnBut overall, a nice lake to relax at sometimes...

Great place to relax with easy access and stunning views! Whether it be bank fishing, kayaking, boating, bike riding or hiking! Within the Buhlow Recreation area you have access to the Red River as well as a few tributaries that run into the river. There is also a softball field and playground as well as another playground, restrooms and a pavilion available for general daily use that are also available to rent for private use. The views of the pecan orchards can’t be beat. The main road travels along side the river and brings you back to the boat launch with you views of the old train bridge!nNot to mention this a Great place to take portraits!
