West side overlooks the Univ N Georgia campus. This is your standard motel room, not fancy, but clean functional room. Traveling with 2 dogs ...and they were quick to welcome them. Friendly staff noted that they've owned it for 17yrs.nRated according to price range of room for what you get.
First time staying here and we LOVED it. The rooms were VERY CLEAN and the bathroom was VERY CLEAN as well. The owner/front desk lady, Yogi, is super sweet and very accommodating! The bed was very comfortable. The TV, Microwave and fridge worked perfectly in the room, along with the AC/Heater. The ice machine and vending machine was perfect as well. The mountain views are to die for. There is McDonald's at a walking distance. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Awesome friendly staff and super reasonable rates. Ask about the hiker discount! Free cereal and finger food for breakfast.
We really liked this place as its a quiet location and the owners/managers gave excellent service, and definitely go the second mile! First she reserved a room for us even though we werent sure we could make it, with no cancellation charge. Then we mislaid a large portion of money and they returned it all, refusing to take any for a reward. It might not be as posh as a Hilton, but its basic and comfy. And to be able to deal with good,honest people is worth a great deal. We will definitely be returning here!
