Go Fish Education Center

Went with our 2 boys 11 and 5. The place is huge for a learning center. There are lots of interactive activities to do (lots if the activities were not available due to COVID-19), and a huge outdoor aquarium area.nnThe location is a state fish hatchery and they have lots of information about their process. There are live tanks with fish inside and the hatchery is visible through viewing windows.nnThe fishing is great for kids! They have a small pond stocked with lots of fish. They provide fishing rods and bait (small pieces of hotdog). And, if you just can't seem to be able to catch something, the staff is quick to jump in and give your little fishermen and fisherwomen a hand.nnThe best part is the gift shop. They actually have nice gifts and they are not overpriced. I actually saw some small things for under $5 that would be $25 to $30 at Wild Adventures or the Atlanta Aquarium.nnYou can't go wrong with GoFish.

The Go Fish center is educational and informative. My boys enjoyed the scavenger hunt and learning how to fish. The volunteer was very helpful. The volunteer stepped in when he saw my boys and I trying to figure out how to yes the fishing rods. We enjoyed our time at Go Fish. I would recommend to visiting.

Excellent exhibits and great place to introduce young and old to one of America's greatest past times. Get to know Georgia's local wildlife and fish, see them up close, and then get a chance to catch one in the stocked pond. Don't miss this experience.

We LOVE visiting here! Even my teenagers love this place! Alligators, trout, bass, brim, catfish & so much more!

This place was a lot of fun! My wife caught her first fish and our kiddos had a blast. A few attractions were closed due to covid restrictions.
