I'm beyond impressed with the professionalism and customer service at Funk | Rockwell. I'm an Independent Author and needed to file business taxes for the first time for the calendar year 2014. My business and personal taxes were complete just days ago, so this is the perfect time for me to post an honest and unbiased review based upon my experiences. I relied heavily on Funk | Rockwell for direction, information, recommendations, and to do a fair and helpful job for me, to ensure I maximized my legal and honorable business expense deductions. They surpassed my expectations... not an easy thing to do as I worked for years in a customer-service field and trained employees in the art of superior customer care. I applaud Matt, Jenny, and Douglas. I've recommended Funk | Rockwell to many authors--peers who have the same small business needs as I. Funk | Rockwell has earned my loyalty. I highly recommend them to individuals and business owners for tax preparation needs.

I don't know where to start :) Matt has been doing our taxes for 10+ years. He has helped us with rental properties, small businesses, and the ups and downs of everything!! When we first went to Matt he even looked over old tax returns and got some taxes back for us. He has always worked hard for us and is worth every penny we have paid him. Last year (2015) we moved to Texas a bought a small business. We started to use a company in Texas that was recommended for accounting purposes, however, things quickly got messed up. We called Matt up again and he took over even though he is in Utah. He cleaned up the mess and has us back on track accounting wise. He is in constant communication with us doing payroll and all other necessities even being states away. We will continue to work with Matt always!! So grateful for all he has done for us over the years. If you need a trustworthy accountant who is great, this is the place to go!!!

I have worked with Mr. Funk for over 15 years. I highly recommend their service. I have used the firm for tax service as well as consulting. I handle the financial statement preparation for several different types of companies such as a small law firm, plumbing contractors, mystery shopping company and manufacturing facility plus all of the owners individual financial needs. Funk Rockwell has completed all of the tax returns on time every year and offered advice of how our tax burden can be reduced for the current year and future years. Mr. Funk and his entire staff contact me with questions, suggestions and reminders about deadlines and tax law changes on a consistent basis and I appreciate them going the extra mile to help me keep all of the businesses in compliance and paying the least amount of tax possible at the same time. No matter whether the tax return is not complicated and just a single W-2 or very complicated with W-2's, 1099's, K-1's and all of the other items that many business owners are involved in Funk Rockwell will get the job done on time and at a fair price.

Matt knows his business but charged me twice the normal rate for my taxes and when I brought it up he said that’s just what he charges.Well Matt,fool me once but never again
