This place is always good. They take pride in serving good food. Food that makes you want to return again and again.
The food was good and the waitress was nice. The tea however...I do not recommend. It tasted like water. I ordered the gyro and it was tasty. I would recommend pita chips with the gyro instead of Lay's. I want the whole Greek experience. My daughter got the Chicken Tikka Misala which was good as well.
Ubiquitous college bar atmosphere, surprisingly good food. Prompt service, fair prices.
I recently went with some friends on our trip to milledgeville, and the food was amazing and the waitress was very polite and friendly. We got our food very fast, and she came around every several minutes to check how we were doing and if we needed anything. I would highly recommend Metropolis Cafe to anybody who likes Greek cuisine or is looking to try something new.
I've been here many times and it's always good. Best place I know of in Milledgeville to get baklava. Great humus, good gyros and kabobs. Awesome curley fries. Nice atmosphere.
