Just west of Parking Lot E16 is the entrance to a beautiful short “marsh walk” loop that takes you down to the lake on a planked sidewalk. Lots of marsh plants, birds— I’ve seen ducks and gulls, a pair of herons, and a variety of birds I can’t label, as I’m not a birder— and when you get to the water there are frequently turtles sunning on logs and small fish jumping for insects, plus frogs singing their rivetting songs. It’s worth going a minimum of four times, once per season, although more is better!

Nice place for meetings, walking around and smelling flowers!
