Good school with kind but focused teachers. Relatively clean facility, with experienced teachers and hard-working staff-members. The homework level is moderate, but about two times more for kids in gifted. The location has 2 entrances, one from the back and one from the front. There is a swimming pool nearby and a lot of traffic in the mornings. Overall, a good place to learn.
Sometimes i wonder, what is the purpose of school? This is obviously not the definition of it. Teachers take too many days off and we dont learn anything. 10/10 would not recommend go to Highland.
Most teachers at the school are excellent, and I have had the best few years of my life here. Some teachers are less favorable, but do not detract from the overall experience.
Administration doesn't know what they're doing. The staff has no experience working with kids. Bad teachers who don't actually know how to teach, and try to control the students. Replace the staff, and the students might just learn something.
It's awesome, and overall a great place to go to school.
