Slate Street Cafe

First time eating here today. Maybe the best steak and eggs I've ever had and definitely the best hash browns I've eaten in Albuquerque. Nice little patio and the interior is chic and welcoming. The pomegranate mimosa was yummy, and my waiter this morning, Alejandro, was just attentive to be nice but never bugged me. I really appreciate a good waiter and would like to say thank you to Alejandro for making my visit super enjoyable. Will definitely bring my friends and family and can't wait to try their other dishes.

The afternoon started off great. The server was nice and prompt. Once we placed our order the server literally disappeared for nearly 30 minutes. We had no refills, my daughters food was delivered and we had no silverware and by the time he came around to check on us we literally had to 10 minutes before they closed so we felt incredibly rushed. The food was delicious, mimosas were fantastic, service was not the best.

Had lunch out on the patio today with my family. The salmon club sandwich was delicious! There are only a few patio tables (about 4) so I called ahead to insure there would be something available. Good food and good service!

Okay coffee. Pancake was uncooked. Salad was okay but not price worthy. There are more better options in this town With this price.

food was so delicious. looking forward to a return trip. the place has a great feel to it.
