This facility has a lot of potential under it's new ownership of Alachua County. Unfortunately, Alachua County has no idea what it is that they actually bought or how to use it effectively. The county threw together a nearly useless and contradictory 23 page lease/rental contract that was made up of random parts of other contacts from 4 different Alachua County departments. When all other such facilities had a single point of contact for ALL matters, Alachua County has 4 separate departments that you deal with depending on the matter. Prices for it's current configuration (pre-construction) are completely out of line with other similar venues.nnWill wait a year or two to see how the upgrades go and if the county can learn how to properly utilize and run it.

Good location. Went to the spirit of the horse show at Christmas time. The grounds were well maintained, traffic was directed well, directions were clear.

Went to my first dressage horse show with a friend who rode; she explained what was happening. Very interesting. The large covered arena was clean & well lit, the seats were good (for stadium seats), lots of parking, not very many people in the stands. Free. After exiting Newberry Rd take the 1st right to areana parking & entrance.
