I was apprehensive about getting bunion surgery at a teaching hospital and I told Dr. Adelaar. He said if I signed something that said that no residents would operate on me, none would. Well, someone messed something up because my second toes is way far away from my big toe and my foot looks ridiculous. Dr. Adelaar even seemed surprised when the bandages came off. He said something about loose ligaments but if I had that issue, he should have mentioned it before surgery- and no, I do NOT have loose ligaments. A bad experience that I will pay the price for for the rest of my life.
