Judicial Inquiry & Review Commission

Sara the Admin Assistant of JIRC was very unhelpful! She advised that no one should file a complaint on a judge while a case is ongoing and/or actively on appeal, because JIRC will not intervene. Now, since the appeal process extends up to the US Supreme Court, which can take years if coming from the General District Court, this would mean JIRC rules permits them to do nothing/refuse to intervene for possibly years, as they will not consider a complaint until afternoon the US Supreme Courts hears the case(final stage of Appeal). A person should not have to choose between filing a timely complaint about a judge’s misconduct and filing their timely appeal. Sara shared, even after a complaint is accepted, JIRC still does not have any jurisdiction to change a judge’s decision/ruling, but only to evaluate the Judges’ alleged misconduct based on the Judiciary Cannons; which I understand. Now, I don’t understand why does it matter to JIRC if the case is on appeal or not, if they can’t change a Judges’ rulings anyway. The judge’s final court order, should be all that is required to investigate misconduct. Sara carelessly stated that is the rules. I asked Sara who makes the rules or have the ability to change them. Her response was “nobody”. She stated there is no governing body over JIRC, who can change the rules. Sara seems like the type of individual that if you make a rule requiring her to walk on her head, she will follow it without question. Loss of humanity. The main issue with our justice system.

I have had two judges who commited unethical practices during court cases in which I was the victim. Instead of going psychotic like a lot of people we see about on the news..I reported this illegal business to this commission. I was spat on, ignored, and told that what I think felt and what happened to ME was not unethical and that they were doing nothing about it when I wrote them a 5 page letter for each case with specific unethical codes that explained the judge's unethical behavior towards me and to many others im sure!nThis commission allows judges to abuse harass and neglect VICTIMS causing them to become more depressed!
