They make you feel right at home love this place
TBC takes its obligation to love others very seriously and welcomes the LGBTQ community.
Did not teach from the Bible. Had there self philosophy. Also spoke of politics with cheering for whom ever people supported . I will not return and will tell others of this type of church
One of the few churches I have been to that promote inclusion no matter your beliefs or situation. Pastor Sterling is a great orator and a genuinely passionate man who believes in the good in everyone. The congregation is always welcoming as well.
No church is perfect, but Tabernacle gets as close as any. An amazing, loving place that truly cares about people, all people, without judgement. They serve their neighborhood, the homeless and hungry, Burmese refugees, and affluent middle and upper class families all the same. They are diverse, creative and caring. Worship is lectionary based traditionally grounded but always creative. I would recommend this church to anyone and everyone who wants to deepen their faith and attempt to live a truly Christ-like life.
