Great environment. However I didn't enjoy my meal...at all. The salmon was supremely hard and overcooked....twice. I sent my food back and received the exact same hard inedible fish twice in a row.nBut I immensely enjoyed the ambiance.

The wait time to get in and get food was way too long. Sunday brunch was 1pm to 5pm. We were there before 1pm and we didn't get until 1:30pm once in the food didn't come out until 3pm. Black owned businesses need to do better because we want to support them.

Hello:nMy friends and I dined at Frozay RVA, on Saturday March 6th. I am going to tell what I like first. I loved the waitress and the food was fantastic. Now, what didn't like, the cook was not ready, we had to wait outside for 45 minutes. You had five paying customers that left. Frozay website said open at 5:00 pm. When we finally got in at 6:10 pm. We were not seated and we had to place our order at the door, unacceptable. We ordered our food the appetizers and our entrees came out about the same time. Did not understand why drink and food checks were not on same receipt. The music was too, to the point you could not hear yourself or conversation. Good food but I recommend this restaurant no.

We arrived at 8:18pm and waited in the cold until 9:08pm. I didn't like the fact that my card had to be swiped twice because you have to place you food order at the door then you pay for your drinks before you leave. We were seated by one waiter and then another waiter moved us. We got our food at 9:35. The only reason we waited in line so long was because it was my sister birthday and we wanted to see what the hype was about. We were disappointed. The presentation was beautiful but the food was bland. We had the Stuffed Salmon with asparagus and roasted potatoes. The asparagus and potatoes were seasoned good but the salmon was bland. The drinks were good though. I had the lights out. We ordered shots but the waitress never gave the to us. We ate and left quickly because there were other people standing in the cold. They also have a DJ but he played songs like chicken noodle soup, wipe me down and other old songs. I like that it is black owned but I don't think I'll be returning. There is parking on N 17th street. I don't like that a 18% tip is already included in the cost of the every meal because even if you get bad service they still get a tip.
