I love this place and used to frequent it regularly. The cocktail mixes are especially good and food is excellent! Can’t touch the cool metal vibe and fun decor either. However last time I was here the bartender tipped themselves nearly as much as my tab total (despite me tipping > 20%). Be weary if you don’t want to get scammed. It didn’t help they were also pretentious and unfriendly.
Chill place with some great staff. The place is a little away from the main nightlife areas of Richmond, but this is a great place to meet-up to get the night started or as a hang-out if you live nearby. GWARbar has a unique, rocker atmosphere perfect for a certain type of person. Check it out!
Awesome place, love GWAR, so had to stop here when visiting RVA. The bartender with the Jaws tattoo was super kind and made really awesome drinks. So awesome that I can't remember the name of the sandwich I ate, but it was delicious. Especially the fries. Oh man ud83dude0d
The bouncer and bar tender both cool as hell.
What a fun place. They have plenty of GWAR memorably. But what blew me away was the food. If you're a vegetarian or vegan than this is a must stop. They offer several amazing, delicious, meals. I won't be passing through Richmond without eating there.
