I have to start off by saying this company is a JOKE! I warn you now go some where else!nnMy husband and I booked ONE trip wedding, honeymoon and family vacation through Odyssey Travel first off our agent Maureen acted as if everything was perfect…..and it was far from perfect. We had my elderly grandmother with us on this trip so it was very crucial for all information from the resort to be relayed to us by our agent for health issues of my grandma. Our agent NEVER told us or our family members that there was a 2 hour drive from the airport to the resort. She never told us any information regarding either our resort had been hit and/or affected by hurricane Sandy. We were told that the resort was closed due to remodeling and was opening in the beginning of November and would be beautiful for our trip. The resort WAS’NT finished! The SALON was in a resort bedroom and was empty and the salon chair I sat in for my wedding day was a desk chair. My pedicure was done out of a plastic container. The pictures off the resort website were totally false and we had to contact the resort corporate office regarding the false advertisement from their website. Our travel agent Maureen also put our honeymoon room right next to my in-laws which the first night the resort was completely booked so we couldn’t switch rooms till the next day. (Very awkward for our honeymoon) With MANY issues we were not satisfied with the service of our travel agent Maureen at Oddysee Travel we made our way to the president of Odyssey Travel in which did NOTHING! My wedding, honeymoon and family vacation was horrible with one issue after another. Sad to say I will never get my wedding day back again. After everything we have been through I ADVISE everyone to pick another travel agency for your trip my husband and I and our families despise this company and their service and WOULD NEVER refer anyone to this company ever.
