I have been going to Dr. Shaw for more than a year. He is compassionate and caring. Dr. Shaw has helped me with numerous things.

Disorganized. Your garden variety “makes you talk talk talk while sitting there providing zero insight and probably organizing his grocery list in his head” type Psychologist. references incorrect information he wrote down previously. Did not leave session feeling at all confident in his abilities. Not a great fit. Also not culturally competent at all. Though to be fair one doesn’t trek to Poquoson for the cultural competency.
