Dr. David C Lieb

Dr Lieb has been a good Dr to me. He is easy to talk with and listens well to my needs.

From our very first interaction, my family and I were able to tell that he actually took some time to read the information sent prior to the first appt. He came into the room with a thorough understanding of my extensive history, which made me feel comfortable and reassured me that what I came bringing to the table mattered. He asked questions that were very specific to my case, again showing me that he reviewed information and payed attention to detail. He showed great empathy for my medical struggles. Dr. Lieb was very transparent with us; especially with regard to what about my disease was within, and what was outside his comfort zone. While the diagnosis at hand is not something he treats in patients all the time, he didn't shy away. He left us with the impression that he genuinely took interest and wanted to help. He left us feeling confident he would do whatever it took to make sure he could provide the best care. He continues to prove this to us, by frequently checking in with us, and also other providers on the care team, to be sure nothing falls through the cracks. During all encounters, Dr. Lieb has taken the time necessary to address all matters. He LISTENS. He has not only given us plenty of opportunity to ask questions, but he answers them thoroughly and with honesty. He has exceptional follow through, and while he may be busy and overwhelmed with responsibilities at times, he has always left us with the impression that we are just as important as the next patient. We very much appreciate Dr. Lieb for allowing us to address the care we recieive as a partnership, allowing us to take part in our health. When you get to know Dr. Lieb you will see this is all about helping members of the community stay healthy, not just a profession. He is really passionate about his work and taking care of his patients and it shows! We can't say enough good things about him. It is such a relief, when you have a disease process that is not well understood by many, and are able to put all our trust in Dr. Lieb. My family and I take pride in saying the one overseeing my care is: Endocrinologist - David Lieb with EVMS - and you will too!

I have had T1 diabetes for 40+ years. Dr. Lieb is the best Endocrinologist I have seen.

I have been under Dr. Lieb's care for about 2 years. I have found him to use patient-centered communication techniques, answer all of my questions, and give me the highest standard of care. He's always familiar with my chart before entering the room, he asks lots of questions to get a super clear picture of my health, and he maps out a thorough health care plan. I highly recommend him!

Would not recommend does not return calls to patients my daughter still doesn’t have a follow up stated it would be 1 week it’s been months we both have been calling had to go to another o e of her doctors to get her medication this place apparently does not care about its patients
