I absolutely loved my experience with Aspen Dental. From the moment I called with an emergency broken tooth they did everything possible to get me in quick. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The X-ray techs. The doctor. The other people helping out were absolutely exceptional. They showed care in every step of the way. The main thing I loved was how they broke down how much everything would cost and gave me payment options after what I owed was not covered by insurance. I can’t wait to get my teeth fixed.

The actual Dentist and the hygienist were amazing, but like so many others my issue is with both the front office and finance office. My mouth is in very bad shape because I never had insurance to get treatment. After finally going a month or so ago, I was told I had Gingivitis, needed a root canal, a number of crowns, and a number of fillings. My Wisdom teeth also need to be extracted.nnMy visit to the financial office as going smoothly at first until I told them I have insurance now, at which point my bill went up about nearly $2,000 (I was watching the screen.) I was also encouraged to get one of my crowns done immediately before insurance kicks in on major procedures next year and despite me insisting I do not have the money for that right now, the finance lady kept pushing and pushing for me to accept a financing offer despite me repeatedly telling her I was not interested, she also kept trying to schedule the most expensive procedure first above everything else that I can actually afford right now despite explaining I wanted to just go with the gum diseases treatments and fillings first. A $125 electric tooth brush was also added to my treatment plan without my consent.nnI left that day and took a day or two to review my treatment plan and decide what to do next. This was about three weeks ago. Since then I have repeatedly called this office, sometimes multiple times a day all within their posted business hours in an attempt to make an appointment (meanwhile my gums are getting worse and tooth pain is increasing.) Each time it goes straight to voice mail. I have left multiple messages since November and still have not received a call back. If you want to use Aspen Dental, maybe try their Suffolk office or better yet, use another practice entirely.

Very friendly and comforting for someone with intense dentist anxiety. Not to mention affordable! I know it all depends on insurance, but I paid for something I swore would cost and arm and a leg but ended up being very manageable. Now I’m on the right track towards getting my teeth better!

I’ve been to a lot of dentists around the Va Beach area. Most of them are ripoffs. I went to Aspen dental and found them to be professional full of knowledge and a great place to get my work done. I’m very fond of this practice. The last place I went to was a rip off this place is not. I highly recommend you visit this location in Norfolk

They just gave me a million x-rays and the reason I was there was not corrected. I believed they saw I had insurance and just started doing everything they could charge for. All they are interested in are bridges and partials. They should state that on their ad. I came for an emergency for a tooth. Never again!!!
