I had an appointment scheduled for well over a month, never asked for it to be cancelled or rescheduled. Went in a few weeks prior for a different issue and apparently the receptionist that scheduled that appointment cancelled the one that I already had scheduled without my permission. When I spoke with a Clinical lead I was told there was no way that I could be “fit in” today and that I could have discussed this issue at my previous appointment that was with a different Dr. this is beyond unacceptable. I am not asking to be “fit in”, I had the appointment scheduled and it was cancelled without my knowledge or approval?! She offered for me to come in the next morning, but I work and had to schedule over a month in advance to take the afternoon off for this appointment. I cannot just pop in tomorrow. Beyond that I was offered no other option or anything, except to have a supervisor call me back. This is ridiculous, it takes forever to get an appointment and then when you do and they make a mistake it’s oh well, sorry about that.....
First of all the wait for the doctor was insane. Second I came in with my 14 year old daughter, the doctor asked my daughter if she wanted me to step out and my daughter said yes. She’s 14!!!! A minor. Nothing was solved. The problem we came in for wasn’t handled. The doctor was rude, didn’t even catch her name but she was a pregnant Asian lady. My daughter won’t be going there again. Her asking my daughter if she wanted me to leave threw me off to the point I didn’t even ask what I wanted to. She asked my child if she wanted to try birth control for her cramps. Who are you to ask her that in the first place. Absolutely not. Do not go here. Wish I read the reviews first. Seems they have a lot of problems with rude people and I can see why. Only positive thing was the nice nurse
This worst clinic /obgyn labor and delivery I have ever experienced. Neither the nurses nor the doctor gives an f about your concern. I find the nurses incompetent and they will try to lie to you and anyway to find an excuse. My wife and I went through a hell at this clinic as well as their OB delivery hospital. I had take my wife last minute to another hospital because of so many issues here bs here.there is no accountability. You have no voice and pretty much it the doctor runs the show at the obgyn delivery hospital and mind you if they screw you up you are on your own.
I recently received my prenatal care from Lake Manassas OBGYN and they were wonderful. All the staff is absolutely amazing. My pregnancy was considered high risk and previously having a child with special needs had me on edge with this pregnancy. Whenever I had a concern, the Doctors and nursing staff listened and went above & beyond to make sure my baby was ok and helped put my mind at ease. I will continue to come to this practice for my yearly exams as well. I always highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for care.
I am only giving two stars because Dr. Spytek was very quick with my pap smear. Everything else goes down hill. When I received my summary papers, there was literature given on weight loss surgery. That is something you discuss with your patient and not take a passive aggressive approach on. I also had testing done. Dr. Spytek overlooked the results. I only found them because I get chart updates by email. When I called the office, I was offered an apology by the nurse on behalf of Dr. Spytek. I’m glad that it wasn’t a life threatening illness because she missed the results. I shouldn’t have to follow up and tell a physician I have a diagnosis that I need meds for.
