Dr. Behnam Jafarpour, MD

After 4 neck surgeries and still in having chronic shoulder pain and migraines I was desperate for some sort of relief. After seeing 2 pain specialists I still wasn't satisfied with the treatments I was receiving. That's when I luckily discovered Dr. Jafarpour.nnOn my first visit I could tell he really listened to me when talking about my pain. He came up with a plan of medications and injections that helped ease some of my pain. I have now been seeing him for 3+ years and have lowered the amount of medications quite a bit from when I first started seeing him.nnMy favorite part of him being my pain management doctor is that he stays up on the latest treatments and has them available for use very quick. An example- when I was having a bad few months with almost constant headaches, there was a new injection on the market that he thought would work for me. And he was spot on, that was a year ago and now I rarely have migraines. My wife now gives me the injection once a month.nnInstead of just throwing a pill at my situation, he found a much safer and reliable option in my opinion. He has also done the same with my shoulder pain. I have received quite a few injections in my shoulder that at least offer some relief, which has helped with the reduction of medications and my quality of life.nnDr. Jafarpour has been a real blessing for me. Although I will always live with a certain amount of pain, he has made my life more comfortable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor with real solutions instead of just a doctor who wants to throws pill at it.nnJim Peters

I have 2 bulged disk that are to early to operate on and have been a patient of Dr Jaffapour for 2 years .nThis is the only doctor that has prescribed medication and injections in hospital and in office.nIf you want to alleviate your pain and live a normal life make an appointment today .nThe staff and Doctor Jaffapour will take care of younGod BlessnGalen Kiser

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I was on time for my appointment, all 20 pages of forms filled out with attached records from my referring physician. I waited in the patient room for 30+ minutes. The doctor finally came in and I explained my issues which were thoroughly detailed in my patient forms. I asked if he reviewed my forms and records. He said “No.”nnI have sharp pain throughout my entire body, therefore I shaded majority of my body parts on the form which requested to show where my pain was. He then said he DID in fact review my forms. (Lied straight to my face.) He basically WROTE ME OFF, and held up the form with the shaded body parts and said “This is a Red Flag”. Basically saying I was LYING about my pain! I asked “wouldn’t you recommend a lab order to rule out auto immune disease and he said “Is that what you want?!” A simple LAB order! Mind you, I work for a specialist in another field.nnThey didn’t request ANY records NOR did he review the ones I brought in office. Waste of time. I will de disputing this with my insurance company and would NOT recommend this office to my worse enemy.

Today was my first visit for pain management and I’m very pleased! Doctor J seems to be really nice patient and concerned he took the time to explain to me how pain management works his staff is also really nice and welcoming ☺ufe0f Thanks so much I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Dr. Jafapour is a very caring and empathetic physician. He listens to me and explains why he recommends certain medication over other meds. His staff is very nice also. I recommend him highly.
