My husband and I are almost afraid to tell the Northern Virginia area about this team of amazing accountants and how awesome they are. We're afraid that they may eventually get to rich and retire. Well as long as they stick around for a few more years, we'll retire with them and thanks to them.nWouldn't even think of recommending another team of accountants. Their customer service is amazing and their attention to the details, is unsurpassed.

Anyone who needs not good but great accountants, these are the people who do a great job every time. Customer service is on point and they’ve continuously overproduced for me and both of my companies year after year.nAnyone self employed or otherwise, should be using them for your taxes or you’re likely giving away more of your money then necessary.

Update: Duvall is trying to threaten me with legal action to take down my negative review. I guess they’re fine with disappointing their clients and, when that happens, they prefer to try to threaten their upset-clients rather than try to make things right. These people are the worst.nnStay away. Run away. I went to Duvall Wheeler Accounting to do my personal taxes. I worked with Shannon Hagerich and David Lamb. Due to either carelessness or inexperience (or more likely both) they made a massive mistake (that I feel like no experienced CPA would make) and their mistake could have cost me at least $20,000 that I did not owe to IRS. It was shocking.nnIt gets worse. After Duvall did such a bad job on my return, I hired a different accountant to do the same return. The second accountant did the tax return, and found more mistakes in the tax return and this second accountant charged me FAR FAR less than Duvall.nnIt seems like maybe Duvall hires inexperienced staff and has them work with individual customers to train that staff on how to do tax returns. Maybe they have real accountants for big corporate clients. You are better off going to an H&R Block or even using turbo tax. Working with Duvall has been a nightmare. They don't seem to care about their customers' money at all. Go somewhere else.
