Conway and I had our wedding at Hanover tavern. It was so elegant. From dining in the historic tavern to the impeccable service and the amazing quality of food we couldn't ask for more. Tammy made the wedding process of breeze I highly recommend getting married at the tavern. I highly recommend eating at the tavern their food is exceptional
Easily one of the best restaurants in the area. Perfect fried oysters. Great crab cakes and fried chicken. Beautiful historic location as well. Definitely a must try.
This place is a Hanover staple. I've been a few times now. I had the fried chicken..and really liked it. My wife's shrimp and grits was decent but def not fine dining quality. I hear they make a mean burger so we are going back soon for burger night.
Hanover Tavern is a very special place. With its rich history, highly professional staff, and great southern food, this is a place for all. I had my wedding (ceremony and reception) at Hanover Tavern in October, and it was the most perfect day. Working with Tammy was an absolute delight. In both planning and execution, Tammy was on top of everything and accommodated my every request as well as made sure the wedding flowed seamlessly. I highly recommend getting married in the Coach House to any venue shoppers. It's gorgeous and spacious inside, and is comfortable for all. Thank you Tammy for putting together the best day of my life!! We can't wait to come back for many more visits and dinners.
We had an enjoyable lunch with an excellent host, great food, and friendly people. One patron paid for our meal then said to pass it forward with a Merry Christmas! Random acts of kindness bring joy and love for all of us.
