Coffee is pretty good. Great feel on the inside with books and games you can read. Pastry are... rough. It's been our experience, without exception, that they are very dry. The ladies working here have been very nice as well.nnBut again, if you want a delicious baked good with your coffee, not your ideal location.nnEdit: Scones and muffins are still dry. IMO. They should buy some of 'Glazed' donuts and sell them here.
Such a quaint homey cafe. Love the idea of the converted Fort Monroe firehouse and the kept firehouse theme. This cafe has a small town cozy feel and the espresso drinks are pretty good. We love visiting this little town we're so happy to find this little gem. The staff have always been friendly and professional every time we have stopped in here.
Great food, servers have are super nice but there was one worker, looked like the head manager, who has a severe attitude problem. Everything else made my visit very pleasant, except her attitude! Like many other reviews, workers were not wearing face coverings.
I ordered the turkey deli sandwich with provolone and on a croissant. I love a good croissant lightly toasted. Food was brought out to the cute little umbrella covered tables in front. I will be back again next Sunday for the same meal...call me a new regular. Thanks for giving me a little sunshine in these hard times.
I haven't found a more homey, inviting, sit down and enjoy a cup of great coffee with friends place than this. I love this place and one visit here and you will too. It's all about quality and service. Not the place to go if you want 7-11 speed that's not what there about. Great food great coffee awesome environment.
