I really enjoyed the 5 weeks I spent in this school! For the first two weeks, you take online classes and then move on to in person skill and clinical. You can learn a lot in a short period of time and Ms.Rivers is a wonderful instructor and always helpful. I definitely recommend this school to whoever wants to be a CNA!

Overall an amazing experience! Mrs. Rivers really cares for her students and puts in every ounce of effort to make sure they succeed! I would definitely recommend this program to anyone!

I only have great things to say about my experience with Virginia School for Nurse Aids and Ms. Rivers as a teacher. The class does a great job of walking you through all the information you need to know and ensuring you have the skills needed to pass the certification exam. Ms. Rivers is a charismatic teacher and always brought enthusiasm to class. Additionally, I had some health problems during my class and they were very understanding and fair with my situation. 10/10 would reccomend.

It’s evident the instructor, Ms. Rivers, is committed to having the best CNA program in Richmond that produces nothing but the best CNAs. By the end of the program I felt confident not only in my abilities as a CNA, but in my peers’ ability to be great CNAs as well. Ms. Rivers makes sure all of the students are equally prepared and equipped for success upon completion of the program. She wouldn’t even allow us to move on from learning one skill until all of the students in the class felt completely comfortable performing it. Upon completion of our clinical training, the staff at the nursing facility were so impressed and confident in our abilities as soon to be CNAs that they offered myself and all of my classmates a job at their facility—that’s how thorough the training is at Virginia School For Nurse Aides.
