Nice dining experience. Corner unit of a busy strip mall. We ate on a nice little patio which had copious heaters and patio lights. Cocktails were inventive, beautiful and high quality. Service was very attentive. Appetizers were good but overshadowed by the excellent entrees. The entrees were a bit small and we ended up ordering a second app to compensate. Cons were few. I thought the menu was fairly limited and there were no specials. Cocktails were great but took a long time to come out. Location isn't the best but it does well with what it has. I'd say this is a great place to go for cocktails, pretty good date joint and you could bring the kids too as they have a kids menu. Nice joint, we will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely amazing. My wife and I shared the oxtail egg rolls and each got the beef tenderloin. It was probably the best steak I have ever tasted, perfectly seasoned and literally melts in your mouth. The lavender blueberry tart was delicious as well. Everything was paired together perfectly and was awesome down to the fresh baked bread and honey butter.nnIt is so nice to have something like this in Midlothian. We almost felt we were downtown dining and we will definitely be back (probably next week).

Went to their wine tasting. The wine and food was excellent. The pairings were delicious, with a lot of thought going into the flavors of the wine complimenting the different courses. The atmosphere was relaxing and added to the enjoyment of the evening.nnThe executive chef was engaging in his description of the pairings and his vision of how the flavors worked together to provide an enticing culinary experience.nnDefinitely use an evening out on Midlothian Chef's Kitchen, you will return.

I had heard so much about this new restaurant so we had to try it out. Excellent food! The menu is not large but everything was fantastic because of the subtle spices. Even a greens and goat cheese salad was unique and better than any other salad I have had because of the spices and the incredible goat cheese. My entree of chicken breast and broccoli sounds plain but was amazing! Broccoli came three ways; tempura, steamed, and a delicious puree. Not plain at all! I would say the Midlothian Chef's Kitchen definitely lives up to the hype!

Fine dining has come to Chesterfield! Wow, is all my husband and I keep saying. We have been to some top quality restaurants, and this just may take the cake. There was absolutely nothing negative we could say about the service, cleanliness, food, atmosphere, etc. Perhaps someone not used to quality fine dining could complain about price for portion, but this is simply perspective of someone not understanding what goes into the execution of this menu. Top notch, can't wait to come back!
