The Boathouse at Sunday Park

Fine dining food with the service of a Taco Bell drive through. This is a beautiful venue and the food quality is very good. However the service model for the price point is just plain awful. It is not a fine dining experience by any stretch. We had a party of 6...each person had to order individually on their personal phone...no help whatsoever for modifications to each order....you have to put your credit card into the online form before you get any service....no help for splitting a check...and you are told upfront that a 20% service charge will be added to your bill automatically. Then...salads and entrees show up at the table at the exact same time. You might as well have put them in a bag at the drive through window. This is not the kind of service experience expected for a $47 entree and salad. I would never take my wife here for a special occasion. The management needs to wise up and recognize that the service experience is every bit as important as the food. I have to say, the staff was very apologetic for the poor service model they had to work with. It was quite obvious we were not the first to express our displeasure with the poor business model of this restaurant. Again, the food quality was excellent...however, we had dinner at a brew pub with service that put this place to shame by a country mile...for half the price. Fix this terrible service model if you want to get better reviews...and repeat customers.

Delicious food. Amazing views. Kind staff. We showed up a little bit before our reservation, they got us in right away. We had an incredible view during dinner of the water. And the food was unbelievable. So good. Moat certainly going to be a date night spot for my wife and I in the future.

Awesome restaurant! No one can beat it. It may be a little pricey but definitely worth it!nnNew update: I've been here multiple times in the past 4 years and it gets better everytime. It's an upscale classy seafood place that has a perfect view of the lake wherever you seat. There's multiple seating options: upstairs, downstairs or outdoor areas. With our last experience, our waiter Billy was the nicest and attentive waiter I've ever had. Hopefully we'll be back when he's working. Highly recommend especially if he's on the clock. They have online ordering so instead of paper menus, everything is done on your phone. Just keep in mind that everything will come at once if you order it at the same time. Awesome experience and can't wait to be back!

Our first dinner out in over a year. We loved ordering from our phone! Drinks and food exactly when we wanted them, and so easy to ask for special requests. The server Thomas was very attentive and checked in on us throughout dinner. The rockfish entree was absolutely amazing. My husband's steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Just a perfect dinner outside by the lake.
