Mi Lavenderia

Awesomely clean with great staff. Has bathroom and t.v. , very pleasant.

I usually go to sparklewash on Belmont rd but I decided to try this laundromat out today as I was running late and didn’t want to catch the Saturday crowd at Sparklewash. I remember seeing a grand open sign about one year ago or more for Mi Lavenderia. The first thing I liked about it was that it’s old school. Basically you have to use quarters in all the machines. Unlike other laundromats which force you to purchase laundry cards and you either put too much or too little money on the card which you can’t get what’s left on the card back. Now my first impress was already terrible because the coin machine was taped off to keep customers from using it. However the person behind the counter helped me with 20 dollars in quarters. The machines appear out dated and my whites didn’t come out as crisp as they usually do. Some of my socks still looked dirty even though I did everything I always do at Sparklewash. While I saved money going here, the quality was a sacrifice because I love how my whites look when I wash at Sparklewash. I assume the machine really does make a difference.The dryers were very confusing as they Have no time or prices posted advising how many minutes you get per quarter. There are two fancy looking dryers which did tell me and they did really well with drying my clothes. I think I was really turned off by the mere fact that there were several different machines, typically laundromats have all the same machines just in different sizes. I definitely won’t be returning, I will just stick to sparkle wash
