Lily Cleaners & Coin Laundry

I’ve lived in a house in the neighborhood connected to this laundromat for many years. Over the years many different people have run this place and I have always had a great relationship with them. I’ll wash comforters etc things that won’t fit in my washer. Well, my washer has broken and while I look for another I’ve had to use this laundry mat again. Unfortunately the people running It are not the same, and I have sat by and watched people ask for help when a machine won’t work after putting money in it and the lady that runs the front basically accuses them of stealing and doesn’t help. Once I witnessed a lady’s grandson place money in the machine and when it didn’t run and they nicely asked for help, and she accused them as well of not putting money in. Well today was my turn apparently. I brought 4 loads to be washed got my change and meticulously counted out my quarters and placed them atop each machine. Putting my soap in and putting money in and making sure each machine said “run” which it won’t do unless money is put in. The last machine never ran. Thinking there was no way she would do that to my husband and I when I so obviously put the money in them all. I asked for help, her son was very helpful came and looked and saw the others ran but this one never filled with water he told us to go ahead and put our clothes in another machine. When I did. I waited for her to come start it for me. She wasn’t going to come so I came back up and explained again thinking she may not have understood. Her son frantically was explaining, she went over to the old machine opened the top, pushed some buttons inside and it began to run Without my clothes in it (she did this with the other people too) so I knew what she was going to do. But!!! They have cameras so I just knew once they saw the cameras they would be professional and just start the darned thing. Well she did start it, but about 5 minutes later she walks up to me as I’m reading my book on my phone, pokes my arm(not gently) and states that the machines aren’t free, as if I STOLE $3.25 from her!!!!! I couldn’t believe it! I told her to check the cameras and go away. She said something to her son and he translated back (not very confident) that she did and it showed I didn’t put money in. She had her son LIE to an adult! I was floored. My husband watched me put it in, because he did the other three. Of course she could t show me the footage so obviously it was a lie. But the point is this. It may be a scam. I’ve seen her do this exact thing at least 4 times since my washer broke 3 months ago. And that’s just when I have been there. Be very careful and possibly take a video of your transaction with the machine so they cannot do this to you.

It was clean inside. But outside was ten years worth of garbage around the whole bldg.

I just put in quarters in a machine not marked broken but obviously didn't work. When I approached the attendant I was told that they don't refund and she was told to leave and there's nothing they can do and she just left after that. Pendejos I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and they don't even regulate how many people are in there WHAT COVID guidelines they using I don't know.I wish I could put --5 starsud83dudc4eud83dudc4eud83dudc4eud83dudc4eud83dudc4eMALO MALO MALO

Empty during the week...manager very nice...helpful

I love coming here. The washers and dryers are cheap. Very friendly workers.
