Grossly over priced prescriptions. Checking good rx and single care rates are so much cheaper at other stores (Walgreens, Costco, Kroger)

I made an appointment for a free flu shot online. My appointment was set for 3p. The pharmacist said it's $40... I told him I had filled the online appointment form and added my insurance info to it. He took my insurance card in store and said they can't accept it, that I have to go to my PCP.nnVery inconvenient... This is the 3rd incident I've had in this CVS location that 1) doesn't have what I need. 2) inconvenienced me by making a pointless appointment just to be turned away.nnNot returning to this store.nnUpdate: I called my insurance the following day and said they should have accepted my insurance without issue. And that most drug stores/grocery stores are participating in free flu shots to reduce in-office doctor visits. I did end up going elsewhere, without issue.

This is the worst CVS. Their pharmacy seems to be very disorganized. Do not go here if you can avoid it. It is ssooooo difficult just to get a prescription that my doctor put in & that my insurance covers. They have dropped the ball on multiple occasions. It should not be this difficult just to get one prescription.

I received drive up testing here. It seemed quick and easy. The nurse gave me my instructions and told me there would be a wipe to grab the lid of the Dropbox. When I pulled out the wipe, it was completely dry. I used it anyway to open the Dropbox. The dropbox was so full of test, I felt gross just trying to shove mine in there next to it. Why had they not emptied the Dropbox? I went to this site because I read it took 24hrs -2days. When I called back after not receiving my results they told me 6-10days. Ridiculous that I missed 2 weekends of restaurants shifts because I wanted to be cautious and mindful that I could be asymptomatic. I'm on day 9 and still have not received my results. I wish I would have gone somewhere else. Infact I have an appointment for somewhere else if I dont get the results by day 10. I keep trying to call and check on my results and all I get is an automated message without options to speak to anyone and then it just hangs up on me. As if its not stressful enough in this world.
